I've used VRH urgent care a number of times and have never had a bad experience. I'm typically seen within a timely manner. Everyone has been professional and listened. It makes me sad to see so many bad reviews.

Boyfriend went here with bursitis they said they couldn't do anything about it . Took x-rays of hi wrist because he has been in pain after he took a fall . Went to an orthopedic Dr. They had to retake the x-ray because the Dr couldn't even read the ones urgent care took . Place is awful. They charge you to tell you your ok or at least they're not going to do anything to help you feel better.

It depends on who you get for a NP. I saw a NP named Julie a while back and was very happy with her. I saw a different NP this time and had a horrible experience. The NP ordered tests without my consent and ordered other tests that I specifically said I didn't want her to run. She refused to run the test that I wanted after I was told that they would before I agreed to be seen. Don't expect them to take responsibility, apologize or make it right. The response I got from their investigation was they did everything appropriately! Now I am going to get stuck paying for tests I didn't want and had to pay another place a lot more to get the test that I did want.nWhat I learned from this nightmare was If you are suffering and aren't being heard and/or are being dismissed by a nurse or doctor, you can request your own tests without a doctor's lab slip thru Quest Diagnostics. Unfortunately it won't be covered by insurance but at least you will get the answers you are looking for. I wish I had realized that before going to urgent care because it would have saved me a lot of time, money and frustration. It was only $53.20 for an iron panel there w/o insurance.

Only getting two stars, because the receptionist was friendly and working hard to get everyone checked in by herself. Other than that, very non personal experience. The humans (or robots?) were not friendly. Definitely need more education on infants!!
