I had an awful experience at this urgent care. I came here to have a physical form filled out for my school. They did a ppd test and then attempted to draw blood. However the technician was not experienced at drawing blood, he ended up poking me four times and nothing came out. My arms were all bruised up from them, they were never able to take my blood and I have never experienced a problem with this before. They wrote me a script to get it done at the lab, but I had to wait for a few days while my bruising subsided. Finally after a couple of days I got my blood taken at the lab with zero problems. When they got my results they said my immunity to measles was low and tried to push a vaccine on me that I already had as a child. My school has no requirements for this. I told them I am currently pregnant and cannot take a vaccine, they then required a note from my OB gyn for proof that I am pregnant, when they could have easily just given me a test on their own to save time. it took me almost 2 weeks to get a simple paper signed. Do not go here unless you want to deal with untrained physicians that donu2019t know how to perform simple tasks like taking blood.

This was the first time I was treated at this New City Urgent Careu2026what a very great experience. The nurse practitioner asked me many questions and really listened to me. She explained everything very clearly and was very pleasant. I will definitely use this Urgent Care again. Thank you for treating me with kindness and professionalism.

I called my regular dr for an appointment but he was booked due to the New Year , so a friend suggested I go to New City Urgent Care so I went there after work , the check in with the front desk ladies wasnu2019t long n they were very professional , I sat down for about 20 minutes n my name was called to go in the back , Janelle was very professional as she checked my vitals n was concerned whatu2019s going on with me, then I saw Doctor Dallas n she was so attentive n concerned as well , Dr Dallas then sent me to get a chest xray n when the results came back she called me asap n recommended me to take some meds that she would call the pharmacy for me to takeu2026. The office was super clean n all of the Woman n Men were very professional. I would recommend New City Urgent Care if u canu2019t get to a local hospital or your dr is busy! Thanks again ud83dude37

I had a really disappointing experience at this urgent care. In September I hurt my foot. A lump formed on the back of my foot and it was bruised. I went to urgent care, since it was the weekend and I couldn't get into an orthopedist. I was treated by a male doctor, who I had never seen at this urgent care before. He quickly looked at my foot and decided that I didn't need an X-ray. He said he knew my foot wasn't broken because I would be crying if it was...I pointed out the lump and bruising and his response was Yeah, I see it. I made an appointment with an orthopedist for that Monday and I'm glad I trusted my gut because my foot was broken. I ended up in a walking boot for two months, and now in December it is fully healed.I am fully aware that this is an urgent care and they weren't going to treat me the same way an orthopedist would. But, I don't understand what the issue was with doing an X-ray. Had I listened to the doctor at this office, I would have continued to walk around on a broken foot.
