Outstanding! From EMS, to ER, Orthopedic and nursing staff! Emergency room via ambulance from a fall at a mine resulting in a broken hip and requiring an emergency full hip replacement.nThe team not only took care of me, but stepped in and assisted my special needs adult daughter and her service dos until her dad arrived from over 4 hours away!nnThey made sure that both had food, something to drink and keep her in the loop and treated well.nnForever grateful for the level of care and kindness shown to me.nnHeartfelt gratitude ud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9cnnMuch love in your travels,nnJules

No one wants to go to a hospital. We had to go to Stephenu2019s Memorial Hospital on Thursday night on an emergent issue. I have nothing but the highest praise for the emergency room staff and, quite frankly, every staff person I encountered. After an agonizing night of tests, my spouse was moved to ICU. During our night in the ER I, in my haste to get him to the hospital,I locked us out. The ER doctor spoke to the head nurse, who immediately brought in a Geri-chair, blanket and pillow for me to sleep in. Such kindness! He was moved to the ICU where we met more incredible people. Each and every nurse we encountered was knowledgeable, caring and on top of everything. I cannot express my joy at having him home. We came, they saw, they conquered. From the bottom of my heart I am so very grateful for the excellent care he received.

Went to the ED extremely sick it was a long wait, several other patients ahead of me. Other than the wait the staff was kind and friendly, had great bed side manner. They put me in a private room to rest till the doctor could see me . Diagnosis was pneumonia. Writing a review on a small hospital in western Maine is not like a review on a restaurant. The staff at the hospital did there job and did it well . Only complaint was the severe hour wait. Under the circumstances they did there best . Thank you to the team at the Emergency Department and imaging department.

Not a very good place to go if you break something. My boyfriend broke his foot and fractured his back today. The nurse was being super rude and inconsiderate. Kept giving off the vibe like she didnu2019t want him there. They discharged him not long after his evaluation. And now heu2019s in excruciating pain. Hasnu2019t stop yelling and screaming for hours all because the nurses didnu2019t feel like keeping him there longer and making sure he was okay. Heu2019s in fact not. Staff needs to do better. Be nicer. You CHOSE to be a nurse. No one forced you too. Consider and different career if your going to act childish and mean girl like
