I went here with a cough that has been keeping me up at night for two weeks. Itu2019s not covid I tested for covid and it was negative. Iu2019m also vaccinated. I told the nurse practitioner I havenu2019t been able to sleep because of this cough and my throat is very sore and it hurts to swallow. All he did was hand me a piece of paper that said u201ccoughu201d a five year old could have done that. I drove 40 minutes total to get here and waited twenty minutes for my scheduled appointment for them to tell me I have a u201ccoughu201d. This was one of the least helpful places please avoid.nnUpdate: I was able to get in last minute with my regular doctoru2019s office. My doctor told me that I had an infection and I needed to be on antibiotics. I told my doctor about my experience at WNY immediate care and he said they must be either incompetent or not care at all. I think I agree.

Kind, professional & thorough!nFrom the time I walked in until I was discharged, I was treated with kindness and respect.nDespite having a steady stream of patients, my health care providers Corry, Michelle & Erica paid careful attention to my concerns & medical history. After Corry examined me & ordered the appropriate tests, she reviewed the test results with me both verbally & in writing, then sent me home to rest & recuperate from an upper respiratory infection.nThank you for being there on a late Friday afternoon, when I felt so sick that I otherwise would've spent endless time & $$ in an emergency room.

I am completely unhappy with the two experiences I have had here.nA few years ago I went in with an upper respiratory infection. I get these frequently and had all of the symptoms. The PA that saw me quickly diagnosed me with allergies and recommended that I take an allergy medicine. I was only in there for a few minutes and felt incredibly disrespected. I ended up having to go back to the doctors a couple days later because I was getting worse. I ended up having bronchitis and pneumonia. Who knows if the pneumonia could have been prevented if I was given the time of day and listened too.nnI went there on Monday because I was experiencing abdominal pain. The doctor indicated that it was acid reflux. Knowing what I knew about this facility I did research and told her it wasn't and this is why. She instantly changed her diagnosis to gastritis. I explained to her why it couldn't be that and she kept dismissing what I was saying. She recommended a GI cocktail with lidocaine. I asked her if it would be an extra charge and she continued to talk down to me and say she didn't know any of that. Instead of having someone come in and talk to me about it she sent the nurse in. The nurse came in later and told me that she thought we should do a pregnancy test and in a hurry left the room. She clearly spoke to the doctor and within a minute she came back and said here is your paperwork have a great day.nnAfter being treated like that I did research to see if what they gave me could effect a baby and in fact it could. I warn all women out there to not go to this immediate care because they are quick to provide treatment without following proper precautions. Thankfully I am not pregnant but if I was they could have done damage to the fetus.nnConsidering how terrible the doctor was to me I decided to follow up with my primary care. They had a cancellation and could get me in the day after. My doctor told me that there is no way that it is gastritis and that considering my symptoms the doctor at immediate care shouldn't have diagnosed me with that. He also apologized for how this facility treats people the way they do and that he was not surprised at all.nnThe point of all of this is they are dismissive and they do not care about their patients here. Not only once but twice they have put me in a dangerous position. I will make sure I always recommend other facilities for urgent care.

I was super pleased with the care on my first visit. I had to get stitches and the doctor was very sweet and helpful.nOn my second visit, I told the receptionist that I just needed my stitches taken out. The way the doctor made it sound the first time was that it was covered from the first visit.nApparently not. Only later did they charge me for another full visit. If I had known at the time, I would have questioned it or taken care of the bill, but now Iu2019m left with a bill that I had no idea existed. They should have told me before I saw the doctor (like the first time!) or told me before I left.

Staff was cordial enough, the wait time is ridiculous. I spent over 2 hours in the place because they were catering to people with appointments for work physicals and such. I went there because I thought I may have a broken my hip or had a small fracture in my pelvis. I had slipped and fallen a few feet down onto the edge of a built in pool. I ended up seeing a P.A. instead of a doctor. I'd have felt a little better if it had been more competent hands with an N.P. instead. The P.A. didn't even check the bruised area for anything that may be extraordinary such as excessive pooling of blood outside of a typical serious bruise.nI asked her if she wanted to see the bruising and she just checked the area by putting pressure in the areas of my hip and pelvis. The bruising is about 10 inches in diameter.nIf you have a good doctor, I'd suggest calling them...any good one will see you the same day in a low level emergency situation. The only reason I went to Immediate Care was that they have X-Ray capabilities and the co-pay was only $35.00 with my insurance.nHad I gone to my Dr. I would have been sent to have an x-ray...or had I gone to the E.R., it would have cost me $75.00 and took about the same time as Immediate Care.nSeems like Immediate Care is just another occupational health center for physicals and drug screenings and they put those patients before any walk ins.
