From what I've read, the rating for this place is not justified. People have to realize the limitations of healthcare in this country in general and rethink their emotional responses.nBut whiners will whine, it is what it is.nI received excellent care from a friendly staff. Didn't have to wait too long, and they got me out of there quick, on 2 occasions.

They absolutely do not return phone calls, not even Amazon Pharmacy was successful in getting a hold of someone to finish a prescription renewal. On top of that, they didn't want to renew my pain meds for my chronic condition. Terrible service, don't even bother.

I love the doctors we have there, but the communication is awful. Call center seems to do as vest they can, but once you get to specific departments it falls apart. I spent most of this past week trying yo reach anyone regarding a very important medication for my child, and no one would reach back out to me regarding an update. I called several times, sent portal messages, and had to go in physically on lunches and after work to make myself known. Only through Facebook messaging did I get anywhere, and they asked me not to. When I pointed out their very clear failures... SILENCE.

Julie in referrals should be fired today.nRude and hurtful with a sprinkle of judgey.nnI was waiting for Western Sierra to receive my STAT referral to rule out an ectopic pregnancy... something I had gone to emergency for and was extremely scared to have as the last one almost resulting my death...nnAll I needed was an ultrasound. She'd never have to deal with me again. Without asking any info etc just said, I don't mean to sound insensitive but we can't help you. I said why,she says this is something you PCP can do....nnWHY WOULD I GET REFERRED IF THEY COULD??nnShe was rude. Wouldn't proceed with making an apt. MIND YOU, MY BODIES BEEN BLEEDING AND IVE BEEN IN PAIN FOR ALMOST A WEEK....AN ULTRA SOUND WAS NEEDED STAT TO RULE OUT AN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY.nnWhat if I died due to her negligence??? No compassion or understanding. She just didn't wanna do the paper work to help me.nnLet's also add that it took 3 days for someone to get back to me. I called everyday.nnI was a patient with western Sierra when I first got to Grass Valley and hated them. People there hate their jobs and only muster the strength to go cuz it's close and they just have to half ass it till they can go home. Fine... I've never seen great customer service .nSomeone told me about Stallant so I go there now but due to distance wished I was back at WS but after today I'm so thankful my providers care. I only wish they had all the means to not have to refer us places...especially to places like this.nnI hate this place so much.nnPlease.. your body deserves to be cared on and not misunderstood just because someone hates their job...nnI have to wait now till another place gets the paperwork and can schedule me... meanwhile I'm hoping nothing bad happens to me.nnBeen tripping stressed and in pain emotional etc and all this lady had to do was process my paper work. Make an appointment. Send paper work. Done. But no....Julie triggered more trauma.nnThanks Julie.

Horrible! Laughed at my son when he brought in a sample that a REAL doctor that is covering his case from SoCal told him to bring to urgent care. My son is finally getting the care he needs but no thanks to them. They also had no idea what SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) is. They told my son that's not a real thing and you shouldn't listen to the doctor that is treating you. The staff at Western Sierra need to go back to medical school or at least be open to learning! No compassion or empathy either! I can't think of worse care.
