In my 60+ yrs, I am no stranger to hospitals and doctors in 4 different states. Dr. Dolan, Erin and the rest of the staff have treated me so well and so kindly it is truly remarkable. They tower above any other, and some were quite good themselves. From start to almost finished, they made me feel important to them. Truly, I cannot recommend them any higher.

I first was involved with Hope in 2021, & my doc was Dr. Hess. He was great & so was my total experience with Hope at that time! I began to have shots for my knee, & getting them scheduled in a timely manner was no problem. Enter Salem Health. Only one person was giving the shots & I had a 2-month wait to get them. Dec. 25 I suddenly had a severe pain with my knee & couldn't put weight on it. I called for an appt with Dr. Hess & was given one for Feb. 17. Then just before that appt. I was called & told the doc was in surgery that day, & my appt was changed to March 5. I have to arrange for trans. through my facility in advance. On the day, I went to Salem Hope & was told my appt had been cancelled. No one had let me know. The reason given for the cancellation was that it was made for the wrong doc. Without my knowledge Salem Hope had changed me to another doc & he wasn't available. I said Dr. Hess was indeed my doc, & I was asked if the last time I had seen him, was it before Salem Health took over, & I said it was. I was then told that there were lots of records, & they didn't know about mine. This was totally unacceptable. Not only was my time wasted, but my trans. schedule was also disrupted by this lack of communication. If it weren't that I like Dr. Hess & want to keep him as my doc & will be needing a knee replacement, I would go elsewhere. Things have definitely not been nearly as good since Salem Health took over, & your phone introduction that only the name has changed is not true.

Dr. McCormick was kind, saw me quickly and did a great job repairing my ankle which had multiple fractures. His PA, Jami S. was super kind and spent more time than was likely scheduled answering all my questions post surgery. Roberto removed all my stiches and cared for me painlessly and Ryan R. was extremely kind and careful putting a new cast on for me. Thank you to all of you for your loving care this Fall/Autumn when I had a different fall than I had planned for. I have a long recovery but I appreciate you all.

I have a clueless tech, forgetful, and asked me if I would feel more comfortable if my psychiatrist was in the room. I had a simple broken finger and ADHD. I was stunned she asked me that. She left the room and came back a few minutes later to ask me if I wanted to lay down because u201csometime people feel better when they lay down.u201d She also told me my blood pressure was low which means my heart isnu2019t working are enough but told me it was okay after she took it again.nnI was sitting on the table talk to my boyfriend and felt fine. I told her I was okay. It was very odd.nnThe nurse practitioner was nice, but I really felt like having to explain that I wasnu2019t concerned with my finger but the nerve pain. She finally listened but it was a very weird visit. I wonu2019t go back. It was demeaning to be asked if I wanted my psych to be present as if they would clear their schedule to go to a broken finger appointment for someone they see once every 3 months for a med refill.

I wouldn't even give them a 1 but can't give a zero. Horrible, called made an appointment and they cancelled and didn't have any openings for almost 2 months out. Wow, keep the great service. I would not recommend them at all, find another and quickly and fast. Also your paying for the new building and over paid doctors.
