I've been a Client with Dr. Robertson-Hackney for over several years. I really enjoy my appointments, when I go to her office. The office is clean; her Staff is professional, kind, and extremely organized. She gets high marks for that. Dr Hackney, has an excellent patient/client beside manner. She is very knowledgeable and well experienced, in her field. I have referred her to other individuals. Anyone, who is seeking first class quality service; I would highly them to schedule an appointment with Dr. Robertson-Hackney.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Simmons. Sheu2019s always timely, professional, knowledgeable, and kind.Unfortunately, I canu2019t say the same about the front desk operations, which is the reason for my low rating and review.Typically, when booking an appointment, the receptionist ensures that all details are in order to avoid issues when patients arrive. That hasn't been my experience at this office. I've scheduled appointments twice only to be turned away upon arrival. The first instance happened a little over a year ago. My appointment had been scheduled just a week shy of a full year since my last visit. Normally, receptionists would catch this and contact you to reschedule. Instead, I showed up only to be told that I needed to reschedule. I was annoyed but didnu2019t hold it against the staff. I figure things happen, rescheduled, and moved on.Unfortunately, a similar incident recently occurred, this time involving my insurance. Although my insurance provider is listed on the Metropolitan Womenu2019s Group website, I was informed upon arrival that they donu2019t accept it. Again, this is an issue that should have been caught when I scheduled the appointment, not when Iu2019m already at the office. I contacted my insurance company after I left and confirmed that she is listed as in-network. I understand that insurance provider lists can sometimes be inaccurate, but it's still frustrating to see a provider listed as accepted on both the MWG site and with my insurance, only to be informed otherwise when I arrive.I'm frustrated and disappointed. As much as I appreciate Dr. Simmons, Iu2019ve decided to find a new doctor due my experience with the scheduling. I strongly encourage the office to update its billing/insurance page on the website and to verify information before appointments.

Iu2019m a new patient with an appointment for a Pap smear and gynecologist exam. The staff were friendly and professional. My appointment was at 1:30 pm. I was seen right away. Dr. Simmons is friendly and professional and made me feel comfortable through the exam.

The staff at The Metropolitan Women's Group consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism, effectiveness, and kindness in their interactions with clients. Every time I visit, I am warmly welcomed with genuine smiles and friendly greetings that immediately create a positive atmosphere.Today, I unfortunately ran late for my appointment. However, the staff responded with remarkable understanding, saying, No worries, we will see you when you arrive. This response not only alleviated my stress but also showcased their commitment to customer care. I was particularly impressed that they were willing to accommodate my tardiness, knowing it would interfere with their lunch schedule. One team member even mentioned that she would keep the door unlocked to ensure I could enter easily upon my arrival.A business leader once stated that the individuals on the frontline of a company can significantly influence its success or failure. In my experience, the staff at The Metropolitan Women's Group truly embody this sentiment. Their dedication to delivering exemplary customer service sets a standard for what exceptional care should look like in the industry. They have created an environment where clients feel valued and respected, making each visit a positive experience.

Terrible front desk staff. Had a very pleasant experience with the doctor, but she should be aware of the terrible professionalism of the staff that handle billing.I just started a new job and had not received my new insurance card yet (although it was active). The staff made me pay out of pocket. I immediately submitted a claim when I got the card and the insurance paid the office (so they got paid twice). It took me 5 months, over 15 calls, and my insurance company calling them directly to get the staff to refund me what I paid out of pocket. Every time I called they claimed they had no proof the insurance had paid them (even though the insurance had proof they cashed the check immediately). I had to be persistent until they finally gave me my money back. The billing manager was extremely rude and condescending every time I spoke with her. I think they were hoping I would give up. It wasn't even that much money, but it was the principal of them trying to take advantage of their patients that made me want my money back.
