I've only been here twice. This is the reason for the four stars. I have to say the doctor was very thorough with my daughter I brought her in because she had a sore throat and ears hurting. Not only did the doctor treat her for that but he also noted that my daughter was overweight so he took an initiative to run blood work on her and make sure she was not diabetic or had thyroid problems. I appreciate this as we only came in for urgent care. My daughter has a primary care doctor and they never took the initiative to take her weight into consideration or try to figure out the problem.nSo as for right now four stars. Front staff was very helpful and friendly. This was maybe a month or two months ago. I will definitely come back if need be.

I recently visited your office for a follow-up appointment and wanted to share some concerns regarding my experience.nUpon arrival, I was met with unprofessional behavior at the front desk. The staff member JESSICA who checked name in appeared frustrated, displayed a negative attitude, and asked several unnecessary and confusing questions despite my clear explanation that I was there for a follow-up.nThe wait time was also excessive u2014 I waited 1 hour and 42 minutes, even though there were only a few other patients in the waiting room. When I was finally called in, I noticed that the exam room had not been properly cleaned; there were visible marks and smudges that indicated the room had not been sanitized between patients.nAdditionally, while I was in the room, I could clearly hear staff members loudly discussing other patients in the lobby u2014 despite my door being closed. This lack of privacy and professionalism was very concerning.nFurthermore, I had previously experienced delays when trying to make my appointment by phone. During my visit, I witnessed calls being put on hold while two staff members u2014 a dark-haired nurse i best believ her name being Michell and a front desk employee named Jesikah u2014 were engaged in personal conversation, leaving only one nurse actively attending to her responsibilities.nI understand that healthcare environments can be fast-paced, but I believe that respect, professionalism, and proper patient care should always be prioritized. I had previously interacted with the nurse Nelly who was very kind, attentive, and professional, and I had hoped to receive that same level of care during this visit.nI hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to address these issues. Thank you for your time and attention.

Dr Evans is a terrible doctor. I came in with a sprained ankle. He told me it was tendonitis. I told him no it was an acute injury and that I fell climbing. He muttered to himself and told me to go to my PCP. I told him I didn't have one. Total waste of time and money.nnGot a bill two months later for $200. This place is the worst.

Couldnu2019t get into my general practitioner so decided to go to Avalon Urgent Care. I had a very good experience. The staff were pleasant, Dr. Evans was no nonsense and took care of what I needed for my ear infection. The wait was long but expected as it is an urgent care and not a primary doctor appointment. Jessica, up front, super helpful, professional and very personable. I wouldnu2019t hesitate to use them again if necessary.

Do not go here if you actually want care. The front desk girl is rude. She barely even looks up from her sheet to greet you. I went for an infected finger that was painful and swollen. The doctor- who had crusted mucus on his face- poked it with a needle but didn't even drain it. My finger remained swollen for a couple of days afterwards, until I drained it myself. It was not worth the wait or the money. This place is horrible. Drive down to the low desert instead.
